Choose a card that fits the player’s age
A card of a young athlete works at any age, but the details differ. Younger players enjoy seeing their own face and number on a real card, while older players want a clean look and accurate details.
1. Younger players: keep it simple
Use a clear, smiling photo in uniform and the right team and number. A short line about teamwork or having fun is true and reads better than invented statistics.
2. Tweens and teens: respect their taste
Ask the player, or someone close to them, which photo they like. Choose a cleaner design and confirm the details they care about, such as position, number and season.
3. Plan for siblings and teammates
If several children want a card, list every name and the copies each one needs before you order. A Rookie Box holds different designs, with one magnetic display case included per box, and copies of one design come in larger boxes.
