Cracked Ice is our holographic card stock. A standard slab is $39.99; the same slab on Cracked Ice holographic stock is $44.99. Choose the finish in the builder before you check out.
What is the Slab Guard?
A protective guard that fits around your slab. It's an optional add-on, $4.99, offered in your cart once you have a slab in it — it's extra protection for the case, not a different way to build your card.
Does it come with a magnetic case?
No — and it does not need one. The acrylic slab is the case. A magnetic case is what the Rookie Box includes for a loose card; a slabbed card is already sealed.
Is the card actually graded?
No. The Slab is a display encapsulation with a serialised Snapshot label. It is not a third-party grade and carries no grading company’s assessment.
Can I open it and take the card out?
Not without breaking the case. That is the point of a slab — it is sealed, so choose the photo you want to keep behind acrylic.
Can I order more than one?
Yes. Each slab you order is still its own sealed object with its own serialised label — no two ever share a serial, even of the same design.
