Design it now, sign in only when you order

The card builder opens straight into the Wild Card frame with your photo cut out and dropped in. Pick a type colour, write the move, set the damage and the rarity stars, and watch the card render as you type. You only need an account when you save the finished card or place the order.

Opens the free builder on the Wild Card frame. Two Pokemon-style frames are available — Wild Card and Wild Card (Full Art). We do not print official Pokemon TCG cards or artwork you do not own.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I make my own Pokemon card?

You can make a custom Pokemon-STYLE card. Upload a photo or your own artwork, and the builder gives you the whole layout: character name, stage, HP, an energy type with a colour you pick, a named move with its energy cost and damage, flavour text, a card number and one to three rarity stars. It prints at 2.5 x 3.5 inches on real card stock. What you cannot do is print an official Pokemon TCG card — see the question below.

Do I need an account to use the card maker?

No. A signed-out visitor can open the builder, upload a photo and design the whole card. You are asked to sign in at two points: when you save a finished card, and if you want to upload a complete card design of your own rather than using one of our frames.

Are these official Pokemon cards?

No. Snapshot is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK or The Pokemon Company. We print custom, fan-made cards from artwork and photos you supply. They are not official product and are not legal for tournament play. We cannot print copyrighted characters or artwork you do not have the right to use.

What size are the cards?

Standard trading card size, 2.5 x 3.5 inches (63 x 88 mm) — the same size as a real TCG card, so it sleeves and fits a binder normally.

Which frames can I use?

Two Pokemon-style frames: Wild Card, and Wild Card (Full Art), where your image fills the whole card. Both are fully recolourable — the energy sphere, the card tint and the rarity stars all take a colour you choose. Every other Snapshot template is available too if you want a sports or chrome look instead.

How much does a custom card cost?

A single card is $17.99 and ships in a magnetic display case; extra cards in the same box are about $2 each up to 18. MEGA poster-sized cards are $49.99. Free US standard shipping on orders $30+ — $5.00 flat under that.

Can I print a whole set?

Yes. A box holds up to 18 cards, and bulk tiers cover 25, 50 and 100 for a full set or a league. Each card in the box is designed separately, so a set can mix frames.

How long does it take?

Designing takes a couple of minutes. Production is one business day, then standard US shipping adds 3–5 days, with tracking.
