Photographing swimming
Swimming is the trickiest sport to photograph: indoor pools, splashing water, and faces that spend most of the race submerged. The most reliable action frames are the start off the blocks, butterfly with the arms clear of the water, and a turn at the wall.
The dependable option is a portrait on deck — the swimmer in a team suit with cap and goggles, shot in the brightest corner of the pool. It always comes out sharp and looks great on a card.
Build the card
Upload the photo, crop to frame the swimmer, and choose a template. Add the name, team, and the season or year.
Swimming card backs are all about times: events and personal bests — the 50 free, the 100 fly, the IM — plus dropped-time milestones and meet results. A note about a first cut time or a relay finish makes it a keepsake.
Swimming cards for clubs and school teams
Swim teams are tight-knit and swimmers almost never appear on cards, so roster sets get a huge reaction. Bulk pricing brings the per-card cost toward roughly $0.90, making a card for every lane an easy team expense.
Teams order them as end-of-season banquet gifts or conference and championship meet keepsakes. One coach or team parent collects photos and places a single order — allow 7 to 10 days before you need them.
