"I created a few AI cards for my kids. I started collecting back on February and the boys love the Kaboom cards. My daughter loves princesses so I made her a Disney card through AI. I looked for a company to actually make the card and found Snapshots. Very easy to use, very fast, excellent price. They actually called me to verify some of the information on the picture and offered to make any changes. I received them very quickly. I rarely leave reviews, but I felt this company deserved to hear that they are doing it right and I will definitely be using them again very soon."

"We had my son’s senior pictures taken at Target field so I wanted to put those images on a baseball card to give out at his graduation party! I had so much fun creating them on the website! I ordered them on a Wednesday night and they were at my door that Saturday! Very quick! I couldn’t wait to open them! They are awesome! Better than I could have ever imagined! The quality is well worth the money! Amazing job! Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a unique way to capture a forever memory!"

"I ordered cards on a Monday so they would be shipped and arrive by Friday. The next day through a series of unexpected events and missed communications on my part, I discovered my order was delayed. I reached out to see if there was anyway my order could still be processed and shipped out on time. Graham (CTO) reached out to me personally via email and phone to fix the issue and ensure my order was processed and shipped out on time. I received them on that Friday as I was originally hoping. Upon opening they were better than expected. The card stock is sturdy and the printing was high quality! I would definitely recommend this company and will be making more cards to order."

"This was perfect! Ordered and was in my mailbox within a week. They were exactly what I imagined! I can’t wait for my Kickin Nuggets U4 Soccer team to get their player cards!!!"

Most people searching for a trading cards company hit the same wall: generic templates, slow turnaround times, and cards that feel flimsy the moment you hold them. You want something that looks like it belongs in a pack alongside the pros — not a laminated printout from a big-box photo kiosk. That gap between what's available and what you actually want has been frustrating athletes, coaches, and collectors for years. Standard print shops don't specialize in sports cards. They don't stock the right materials. And they definitely don't understand why the card design matters as much as the photo.
Snapshot is a dedicated trading cards company built entirely around the sports card format. Upload any photo, pick from a lineup of pro-inspired templates, and we'll print your cards on premium card stock and ship them with a free magnetic case. Prices start at $17.99 for a single card, and our MEGA 11×15.4-inch poster card goes for $49.99 — a product you won't find at any other custom card printer. We produce everything in Des Moines, Iowa, so quality stays consistent and turnaround stays fast.
Here's exactly how the process works — and why it's simpler than you'd expect.

Why Customers Keep Coming Back to This Trading Cards Company
Word spreads fast when someone opens a package and says 'this is exactly what I wanted.'
Who Orders From a Trading Cards Company Like Snapshot?
Snapshot cards show up in locker rooms, living rooms, trophy cases, and gift bags. Here's where customers use them most.
Athletes at Every Level
From little league to college to adult recreational leagues — athletes at every level deserve a card with their name on it. Snapshot cards are popular for youth sports end-of-season gifts, senior athlete spotlights, and personal keepsakes. There's something powerful about seeing your own photo on an actual trading card. It validates the work, commemorates the season, and makes a keepsake that doesn't end up in a junk drawer.
Coaches and Team Organizations
Coaches use Snapshot to create roster cards, coaching staff cards, and team gifts that stand out from the usual plaques and certificates. Some organizations order full team sets for award nights or send-offs. Because each card is individually customized, you can mix photos, stats, and player details across a full roster — and the per-card price makes bulk gifting genuinely affordable.
Collectors and Sports Fans
Not every great sports moment makes it onto an official licensed card. Snapshot fills that gap. Fans create cards of local legends, club sports heroes, or family members who played the game. Collectors use custom cards to complete themed sets or create one-of-a-kind pieces that can't be found anywhere else. The magnetic case makes them display-ready from day one.

Frequently Asked Questions
What photo works best for a custom trading card?
The best photos are sharp, well-lit, and show your subject clearly — especially the face and upper body. Action shots work great, especially those taken with a DSLR or a modern smartphone with good lighting. Avoid blurry, heavily filtered, or very dark images, as these don't translate well to print. Horizontal compositions often work best for standard card layouts, but our tool lets you preview and crop your image before ordering. The higher the resolution of your original photo, the crisper your printed card will look.
Can I customize the text on my card?
Yes — every Snapshot template includes customizable text fields. Depending on the template you choose, you can add a player name, position, jersey number, team name, season year, and other details. This flexibility makes it easy to create cards that feel authentic and personal. You're not locked into a generic layout. If you want a card that lists stats or includes a custom tagline, you have space to do that. Preview everything in real time before you place your order so you know exactly what's going to print.
What is a MEGA card and who orders them?
The MEGA is Snapshot's 11×15.4-inch oversized poster card — the same concept as a trading card but scaled up to wall-display size. It's $49.99 and ships free over $30 with the same one-business-day turnaround. Athletes, parents, and coaches use MEGA cards as locker decorations, awards, and framed gifts. They make a serious impression when displayed at a team banquet or hung in an athletic facility. Because they're printed on professional card stock at that oversized scale, they're rigid, vibrant, and built to last. No other custom card company offers this specific format.
Does Snapshot ship to all 50 states?
Yes. Whether you're ordering a single card in rural Montana or a pack of cards in downtown Miami, the shipping cost is the same: zero. Tracking is included with every shipment, and you'll receive an email with your tracking number as soon as your package is on its way.
Are Snapshot cards suitable for kids' sports teams?
Absolutely — youth sports are one of the most common use cases for Snapshot cards. End-of-season card gifts have become a popular tradition for recreational leagues, travel teams, and school sports programs. Parents love giving their kids a personalized card that commemorates their season. Coaches order them for award ceremonies. The format resonates with kids who grow up collecting sports cards because they immediately understand the significance of having one with their own photo on it. Cards are durable, safe, and packaged in a protective magnetic case.
Can I order multiple different cards in one order?
Yes. Snapshot offers packs that let you include multiple cards in a single order, making it practical to create an entire team set or a collection of different players. Pricing for packs goes up to $49.99. Each card in a pack can feature a different photo, name, and custom text — so you're not locked into identical designs. This flexibility makes Snapshot a practical choice for coaches who want to gift a full roster set or for families who want cards for multiple athletes. Contact us through the site if you have a larger custom order need.
What does the free magnetic case look like?
Every Snapshot order ships with a clear, rigid magnetic case — the same style used by serious trading card collectors to protect valuable cards. The case snaps shut with a magnetic closure and holds the card securely without scratching the surface. It's display-ready right out of the package, so you can prop it on a shelf, stand it on a desk, or add it to a collection without any additional accessories. The case is sized for a standard trading card. MEGA poster cards ship with appropriate protective packaging given their 11×15.4-inch format.
