The printed signature
On templates built with a signature slot, the details step shows an Include Signature toggle. Switch it on and the player's name is rendered in a signature-style font in the template's signature position; a font picker appears so you can choose the style. The reference preview changes as you toggle and switch fonts, so you can compare before saving.
It is a stylized rendering of the typed name rather than a scan of the player's actual handwriting.
The real signature
Many people prefer the printed card clean and then have the athlete sign it. The high-gloss surface takes a permanent marker; let it dry fully before it goes in the magnetic case. Teams often have every player sign the coach's card on the back before an end-of-season banquet.
Choosing a template
If the printed signature matters to you, pick a template that shows the toggle. Templates without a signature slot simply do not have that control, and the option cannot be added to them.
