How tax is calculated
Checkout uses automatic tax calculation on the payment session, so the tax amount is determined by the shipping address you enter and the rules that apply there. It appears as its own line once the address is in, and the total updates before you pay.
Because the calculation needs an address, you will not see a tax figure in the builder or the cart. The cart shows the merchandise subtotal and the shipping rule; checkout shows the complete total.
What the listed prices are
Every price on the site is pre-tax and pre-shipping: the Rookie Box ladder from $17.99 to $49.99, the MEGA Card at $49.99, the Bulk Box at $37.99, $64.99, and $89.99, and the holographic upgrades. US standard shipping is free on orders $30+ and $5.00 flat below that; tax is calculated on top where it applies.
Teams and organizations
Team packs are ordered and paid for by each family through the team link, so any tax that applies is calculated on each family's own checkout, not on the coach.
