Why boxes exist
A box is how the builder groups cards for pricing and shipping. When you start at /create you pick a box type first, then fill it with cards. The box has a total price that depends on its type and how many cards are in it, and that total is what appears in the cart.
This is why one card does not have a standalone price tag: a single card is a one-card Rookie Box at $17.99, and adding a second card to the same box raises the box to $21.99 rather than doubling it.
The three box types
Each box type is built for a different job.
- ✓Rookie Box: 1 to 18 cards, each can be a different design, $17.99 to $49.99, one magnetic display case included
- ✓MEGA Card box: 1 to 18 oversized 11" x 15.4" cards, $49.99 for one, $44.99 each for two, $39.99 each for three or more
- ✓Bulk Box: 25, 50, or 100 identical copies of one card, $37.99, $64.99, or $89.99
Filling a box
Inside a Rookie Box, each slot is its own card: its own photo, template, and text. A card can also be set to more than one copy within the box, so two copies of the same card plus sixteen other cards is a valid 18-card box. On a Rookie or MEGA box, each card can be toggled holographic individually.
A Bulk Box holds exactly one design. You build that card once and choose the run size; every copy is identical, including the finish.
Several boxes at once
You can build more than one box and add them all to the cart, for example a Rookie Box of a sibling's cards and a MEGA Card for the wall. The cart totals the boxes, and US standard shipping is free on orders $30+, $5.00 flat below.
