What is covered
Two things are covered: a clear manufacturing defect, and visible damage from shipping. Snapshot stands behind the print, and either of those is treated as its problem to fix.
Because every card is custom, the fix is decided case by case. Depending on the situation that can be a reprint and reship at no charge, a partial or full refund to the original payment method, or store credit toward a future order.
How to make the request
Email info@makesnapshots.com within 14 days of delivery. Include the order number from your confirmation email, clear photos showing the full card, the packaging, and a close-up of the affected area, and a sentence or two describing the issue.
You are not asked to ship anything back and no return label is needed. Once the issue is confirmed, a reprint is produced like a new order.
What is not covered
Custom products mean some outcomes are the customer's call rather than a defect.
- ✓Photo quality you supplied: a blurry, low-resolution, or badly cropped source photo prints as it was uploaded
- ✓Typos and customization choices: names, teams, years, and stats are entered by you and locked at checkout
- ✓Change of mind once production has begun
- ✓Minor color or finish variation between your screen and the printed card
- ✓Damage caused after delivery, such as bending, scuffing, or water
Avoiding the avoidable
Most non-defect disappointments trace to the photo or a typo. Use the original full-size photo file, zoom in on the preview to check sharpness, and proofread every name and number before checkout, because the preview is exactly what prints.
